To date, the Bank has limited knowledge of and experience in the rental sector. Therefore, this KCP seeks to fill this important gap in existing knowledge by generating an in-depth understanding of the current state of rental housing in the region. Likewise, this KCP will contribute to further advance the Banks knowledge and operational capacity by identifying barriers and opportunities to expand the rental market. The results from this KCP will enable the Bank to advice governmental authorities in LAC and support them through a lending program for the expansion of rental housing for low-income households.
