Latin America.Building Capacity of State and Local Actors to Respond to Violence Against Women

This KCP will begin the process of carefully documenting what works and what doesn¿t in the prevention of VAW in Latin America and the Caribbean; it will employ a robust communications strategy to share this knowledge with civil society and governments.

The KCP will enlist as partners and co-funders three of the leading organizations working on VAW: the Pan-American Health Organization, the International Center for Research on Women and the United Nations Development Fund for Women. It will also engage with civil society and community organizations that are implementing many of the promising but unevaluated interventions in the region.
