Comparing regulation for domestic firms in 183 economies. This economy profile presents the Doing Business indicators for Germany. To allow useful comparison, it also provides data for other selected economies (comparator economies) for each indicator. The data in this report are current as of June 1, 2011 (except for the paying taxes indicators, which cover the period January- December 2010). The data not only highlight the extent of obstacles to doing business; they also help identify the source of those obstacles, supporting policy makers in designing regulatory reform.

Additional Financing for Montenegro Health Systems Improvement Project: procurement plan. Document Date: 2011/12/15. Document Type: Procurement Plan Report Number: 66221
Additional Financing for the Health Project: restructuring. The objective of the Additional Financing for the Health Project for Serbia is to build capacity to develop a sustainable, performance oriented health care system where providers are rewarded for quality and efficiency and where health insurance coverage ensures access to affordable and effective care. The extension of the closing date is necessary to: (i) allow successful updating of the Health Information System (HIS) software originally installed in the four participating hospitals, and (ii) full implementation of the HIS in 20 hospitals. Good progress is being made in both activities with key implementation milestones well advanced: (i) customization of software has been finished in all hospitals, (ii) training has been completed in all hospitals and primary health care (PHC centers), and (iii) hardware has been installed in all the facilities. However, to ensure that acceptance procedures are carried out systematically, it is prudent to allow additional time to avoid the risk that some unexpected issues could slow down the process. This will be the first and final extension of the loan closing date. World Bank.Document Date: 2011/12/27.Document Type: Project Paper.Report Number:65962. Data Sheet
